Here's a few pictures from Christmas-I won't add all the details of our crazy holiday season-it's exhausting, but great fun every year. More pictures to come after I get them from our parents.

Naughty Llama
It's weird, but I call Leah my little llama. (Think of the song Mama Mia, but substitute Llama Leah) A llama is less than desirable, especially as a nickname, but so it goes. And she's fiesty-almost always-so she is often called a naughty llama. Sounds cute at least, right? Here she is in her naughty glory-and then just looking plain cute one day after church in a little sweater dress.
Happy Birthday Grandma
My mom's birthday was on the 12th (the big 5-0!!) and since she works in accounting she's been super busy working on tax stuff. Rather than take up time during the work day to call her the kids and I emailed her some pictures. They're so cute I thought I'd share them with everyone. Surprisingly, these are the only 2 I took-I was expecting to have to take several and choose a decent one. Thankfully the kids were especially cute and cooperative this day!
11 months
Leah is only one month away from being a year old. It's amazing how time goes by so quickly!
-She is still crawling and climbing everywhere. We have yet to get a gate for the stairs, which she can climb all the way up if she really wanted to. She's only fallen once-and that was down at Jake's parents' house. Thankfully, she wasn't hurt, just scared and only cried for a minute.
-This little girl can eat! She loves any food and will drink pretty much anything. She's still nursing several times a day and that's just fine with me.
-She is a "yes" girl-anything you ask her she'll say, "ya" and will often nod her head too. Super cute. She also says "da," but not discriminately.
-We were finally able to change her earrings from the ones that were put in when we got her ears pierced. It didn't hurt her at all, but you would have thought this girl was being tortured! She HATES being held down for any reason and this was certainly no exception. Changing her diaper and getting her dressed are often a challenge with this little wiggle worm.
-Leah LOVES to take a bath. She's pretty tolerant of Isaac's splashing and spraying (there's a spray bottle in the tub as a toy) and could live in the water if we let her.
-She's finally sleeping better (not through the night) and usually wakes up once a night around 5 or 6. Every so often she'll sleep until 7, but that's rare. Naps are hit and miss-she sleeps during the day, but is resisting a schedule of any kind.
-Her hair is now long enough for several styles, though she still won't keep a bow or flower in her hair. Sometimes she can even yank out the little rubber bands. Not to mention getting them in-see above about being held down.
-We love this little girl and are looking forward to her first birthday party in a couple of weeks.
