Bling

As noted in a previous post, Leah refuses to keep much of anything in her hair. She's finally letting me put a ponytail or pigtails in and usually leaves them alone. Nonetheless, we wanted her to always have a girly look. In comes the bling. We took her to Claire's the Saturday after Thanksgiving to get her ears pierced! We purposely went when there were two people there so we could do both ears at one time. Little did we know that under the age of 3 they have to do them one at a time because the kids are so wiggly. We decided to do it anyways. She cried. For 15 seconds. Then she was fine. And adorable. Plus bling.

And of course, we can't go to lower level of the mall without a ride on the train so here's Isaac in choo-choo heaven.

  1. Was searching for my GF's blog and came across yours. Loved your description about having your dd's ears pierced. She is precious!

This was a perfect age to pierce her ears! You were a smart mommy for doing it now.

Our ped gave me some suggestions for moms having their infant dd's ears pierced as well as for care of newly pierced ears. Write me an e-mail if you'd would like our ped's tips for care of newly pierced ears.
